Linux commands to check configuration of VPS


Below are some Linux command to check configuration of VPS

Check CPU:

cat /proc/cpuinfo

Monitor CPU:

top -c

Check about version of OS:

cat  /etc/redhat-release

Check about  Kernel of OS:

 uname -a

Check about Ram:

free -m

Check about HDD:

df -h

Check about Speed of HDD (I/O) (Replace 1024 by what you want)

dd    if=/dev/zero of=1GB.tmp bs=1024 count=1024k conv=fdatasync

Check about CPU, Ram, Speed and IO

wget freevps.us/downloads/bench.sh -O – -o /dev/null|bash
